1969

Jeff Thomases joins Swavelle Fabrics and enters the home-furnishings fabric industry. At the time, Swavelle offered only moire fabrics. 

1972

Piermont Fabrics and Piermont Mills are formed to sell prints to ready-made manufacturers and service the mobile home industry, respectively. 

1981

Jeff Thomases establishes Associated Textile Converters, Inc. (ATC) to purchase three companies, Swavelle Fabrics, Piermont Fabrics, and Piermont Mills, previously owned by his father Fred Thomases.
